Crowded Teeth
The patient complaint of poor aesthetic smile, requested to improve her smile. She have had a porcelain fused metal crown on her upper right central incisor which been done many years ago. The black metal margin of the crown exposed after gum receded, caused by gum disease (Chronic Adult Periodontitis). The upper right lateral incisor is a non-vital cross bite tooth, and discoloured tooth. When smile, the upper left central incisor is protruding.
The upper left central incisor is protruded from smile curve.
Treatment Plan
1. Scaling & debridement
2. Root Canal Treatment for upper right incisors.
3. Provisional of Upper anterior 6 teeth with Digital Smile Design
4. Teeth preparation and impression
5. Cementation of Crown & Veneer
Treatment Procedures & Result
After crown preparation for upper incisors.
Provisional crowns transferred from digital smile design.
To ensure the newly designed provisional crown follow the contour of the lips.
After trying the provisional crown for weeks, took a final impression for dental laboratory to fabricate crown & veneer.
Here is the final prosthesis of 4 Emax crowns & 2 Emax veneers.
On the installation day, the upper teeth was isolated with rubber dam.
Crowns and veneers cemented with resin cement after carefully carried out etched and bond procedures.
All the crowns and veneers cemented.
The teeth look harmonise now.
